You will learn to weave using a rigid heddle loom. We will discuss everything from choosing your yarn, planning a project and setting up a loom to weaving the fabric itself. Learn tips and tricks for successful weaving and how to troubleshoot.

Bring your own rigid-heddle or knitter’s loom, or rent one from the Guild ($10/month for Guild members, $20/month for non-members.) Materials will be provided for a sampler.

Instructor: Rosie Kerschbaumer. Rosie has been teaching weaving for seven years, both multi-shaft and rigid-heddle. She is an active member of the weaving community in the Lower Mainland. You can reach her at weavingclasses@gvwsg.com.
