General Meetings:
Our general meetings are virtual. To receive a link to the meetings, contact president@gvwsg.com. General meetings usually involve an interesting lecture, followed by a show-and-tell. Meetings are listed in the calendar above.
Drop-in WeaveSpinDye Social:
Our informal get-togethers are held monthy and are in-person. There’s always some “show and tell” to be enjoyed, plus plenty of gossip! We frequently have a dye-pot going!

Events Coming Up!
Basic Cardweaving Workshop
We are planning an introductory cardweaving workshop, to be held sometime in the fall (November 2024). We are planning a weekend workshop: 2 days, with all equipment and materials included. Still to be decided: the exact dates and location. Enrollment will be limited, but open to non-members. This will be a live workshop (not on Zoom). Please email president@gvwsg.com if you are interested!
90th Anniversary Tea Towel Exchange!
Our Guild is 90 this year! As a celebration we are having a tea towel exchange. The theme is “diamond, granite, and emerald” as these are the emblems of a 90th jubilee. The rules are:
- make as many towels as you like; you will get the same number back.
- minimum towel size is 16″x24″. Towels will be judged for size and weaving errors prior to being accepted.
- towels will be assigned by random draw
- the deadline is later in the fall of 2024; we will havee a social event with show-and-tell to hand out all the towels!
- the towels will form part of our booth’s display at the next ANWG conference in 2025.
